Kata

Kata are the instruction manuals to defense. We don’t stop at blocks and strikes. Clearly Kata is more than this, and meaningful application is thoroughly explored.

We have a dedicated dojo with tatami over a spring-loaded floor.

We are an AAU club affiliated with the World Combat Association, and operating under a syllabus fully approved by Iain Abernethy.

We have working relationships with excellent Judo and Boxing instructors which allows us to explore other fighting arts and disciplines.
